Our weekends diary

We had to drop car at uhaul so I made tea and went to Union Pond, it was a peaceful and blissful morning Evening we had to pick up the car so we went to on the trail which was along pond we visited in the morning! It was beautiful! Ducks in the pond were beautiful!

Since May we have been going for hiking every weekend, at least there is no social distancing with nature!! Sometimes they are along river, sometimes they are along small stream, waterfall or they were along ocean too. We climbed hills or mountains sometimes but this hike was very very special. It was 8km long with lots of steep uphills and downhills. Zuko also walked more than 7kms and then we had to carry him, this cute puppy was tired at the end. The view on the top was the best! Stress buster to mind, refreshing for eyes and body. Jai climbed lot of trees and big rocks! Ram also tried some hanging!

Friday Jai swam in corner pond Saturday Went to eat out after months. We eat outside patio in our one of fav restaurants Tunxis Grill. In crisp fall day eating in sun with nice chit chat with JaiShriRam was very pleasant! We ate a lot! It was lot of fun! After coming back took a nap and mowed the whole lawn while Shri finished his work! Very very satisfying!! Sunday made veggie burger for brunch from scratch and then went for Case Mountain hike! We too Zuko too and he did the 3 mile rocky loop. Jai climbed all the big rocks! Perfect weather for long hikes!

We picked up food from chik fila for kids and veg burger for me from PlanB, had it after ages and enjoyed it to the fullest then we headed to Chapman Falls in Devils Hope State Park. It was very high and hike was lovely! Jai enjoyed swimming and Ram rock climbing! My handsome hunk! Jai enjoyed to the fullest! Just posing My sweeties! Jai had blast swimming! It was awesome to hang out around this waterfall After beautiful hike! We had amazing ice cream in local creamery! Long weekend was nice and relaxing. Started with lazy Saturday.  Did 4th haircut for Shri at home Sunday morning started with Hot air Ballon flying over our house Then we headed to Newport after yummy breakfast of Idli sambar, chutney. We started with Ocean drive and stopped at this calm place where people were catching clams! Jai and Aadi had blast in water Jai tasted fresh caught clam! They had conversation with this guy who was catching clams They played ball and we also had lunch of sandwiches and idli Next destination was Fort Adams! Rocky beach was very refreshing! Fort Adams is absolutely amazing! Walk along ocean and around the fort was beautiful!! After this we went to a beach on ocean drive, again Jai had a blast with Aadi. He did amazing floating and underwater while we strolled with Zuko. Then we headed to this beautiful trail along ocean called  Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge.
