Embarking on a journey to Fort Lauderdale, our adventure began with a serene stay at the Miami Beach Ocean View Hotel. We reached late to hotel and when we opened our eyes, it was a pleasant welcome by morning sunrays. The first day was a delightful blend of cultures, starting with the vibrant Wynwood Walls neighborhood, where the gelato’s authenticity transported me straight to Italy. Dinner was an elegant affair at a chic restaurant, setting the tone for the days ahead. The second day greeted us with a hearty breakfast at South Beach, followed by an exhilarating bike ride along the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk with Jai. The thrill of surfing was complemented by the taste of fresh fish tacos and the unique Shark Tank drink. Jai really enjoyed surfing and tacos. As the day waned, Häagen-Dazs ice cream for me and frozen yogurt for Jai were the perfect sweet treats before an evening spent basking in the ocean’s embrace.
