Mount Norwottuck

Since May we have been going for hiking every weekend, at least there is no social distancing with nature!! Sometimes they are along river, sometimes they are along small stream, waterfall or they were along ocean too. We climbed hills or mountains sometimes but this hike was very very special. It was 8km long with lots of steep uphills and downhills. Zuko also walked more than 7kms and then we had to carry him, this cute puppy was tired at the end. The view on the top was the best! Stress buster to mind, refreshing for eyes and body.

Jai climbed lot of trees and big rocks!

Ram also tried some hanging!

A Journey Through Sunshine and Serenity: Our Florida Getaway

Embarking on a journey to Fort Lauderdale, our adventure began with a serene stay at the Miami Beach Ocean View Hotel. We reached late to hotel and when we opened our eyes, it was a pleasant welcome by morning sunrays. The first day was a delightful blend of cultures, starting with the vibrant Wynwood Walls neighborhood, where the gelato’s authenticity transported me straight to Italy. Dinner was an elegant affair at a chic restaurant, setting the tone for the days ahead. The second day greeted us with a hearty breakfast at South Beach, followed by an exhilarating bike ride along the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk with Jai. The thrill of surfing was complemented by the taste of fresh fish tacos and the unique Shark Tank drink. Jai really enjoyed surfing and tacos. As the day waned, Häagen-Dazs ice cream for me and frozen yogurt for Jai were the perfect sweet treats before an evening spent basking in the ocean’s embrace. On the third day, We savored  Einstein Miami bagel, a perfect start...

Canadian Rockies - Day 2 - The Dream Day: Larch Valley Hike & Moraine Lake Magic

We started our second day in the Canadian Rockies with our little tradition — a steaming cup of masala tea. There’s nothing like that comforting aroma to kick off an adventurous morning. While sipping our tea, we had a great chat with our wonderful host, Jeremy -  a biker, traveler, and author of two books. He’s been around the world on his bike, and listening to his stories was truly inspiring. After breakfast, it was time for one of the most anticipated parts of our trip - the Larch Valley hike and visiting my dream destination, Moraine Lake! We grabbed some Subway sandwiches from Banff downtown to fuel up later on the trail and then headed toward Moraine Lake by shuttle. We started the hike around 12:30 PM, and wow — it was steep and challenging right from the beginning. But every step upward brought more breathtaking views of Moraine Lake below. The turquoise water kept peeking through the trees as we climbed higher and higher. As we gained elevation, the larches turned gold...
