Bermuda Cruising : Day 7 - Saturday : Relaxation, Reflection & Celebration

Our final day on the cruise began peacefully. I woke up early and, after my usual morning juice, we all headed to the dining room for breakfast—Shri’s favorite spot. It was a lovely English-style breakfast served with a charming tea set. The food was delicious, and the ambiance made it even more special.



After breakfast, Baba wanted to relax in the hot tub, so Shri and I joined him. The weather was perfect for it—warm and breezy. We had some great conversations with two other friendly couples, soaking in both the warm water and good vibes. It felt like the perfect way to unwind.


Later, we went back to one of the restaurants for lunch, wanting to savor one last taste of the world-class service. One thing we really appreciated was the portion sizes—each meal was served in four elegant courses, but in just the right quantity. It made every meal feel luxurious without being too heavy. We enjoyed our lunch by the window, watching the endless blue ocean as we ate.


With full stomachs and happy hearts, we decided to take a nap. It felt amazing to just stretch out, gaze at the sky and sea, and let ourselves truly relax—no schedules, no demands, just peace.


The afternoon was perfect for catching up on a little reading and writing, a calm moment to reflect on the trip and jot down memories before the hustle of everyday life starts again on Monday.


We ended the day on a high note—with a family dinner celebration, complete with cake cutting, cocktails, and delicious food. The evening wrapped up with lively performances that filled the room with laughter and joy. It was the perfect send-off to an unforgettable cruise.

We started our second day in the Canadian Rockies with our little tradition — a steaming cup of masala tea. There’s nothing like that comforting aroma to kick off an adventurous morning. Bermuda Cruising : Day 1 – Sunday: Setting Sail from New York City 🚢🌆

The excitement was real as we wrapped up breakfast and left home around 9:30 AM, all packed and ready for our 7-day adventure to Bermuda. As we drove into the city, the first glimpse of our cruise ship took our breath away—it stood tall and majestic on the Hudson River, a true floating city! Check-in was smooth, and by 2 PM, we were officially on board. The sheer size of the ship amazed all of us—18 floors packed with restaurants, shops, a buzzing casino, lively bars, pools, a full amphitheater, a grand theater, and even water slides and a giant rope course towering on the 18th floor! Watching our parents and in-laws marvel at everything around them was heartwarming. For them, this was like stepping into a whole new world—a luxurious hotel on water. The kids were already eyeing the pools and adventure zones, while we were still soaking in the scale of it all. Day 6 - Machu Picchu

Day started early morning with the light from transparent roof! It was hard to getup from lovely lavender scented bed, but very much excited since this was the day!! Yes today we were going to visit Machu Picchu, which was in wish list from 8-9 year. It was a dream coming true destination. Took shower and went for breakfast. Breakfast with fresh fruits, juices and freshly baked bread butter gave us energy. Kids loved the resort so much that they did want to live the place. Taxi came on time and again we started towards Ollyantatambu train station. We booked vista dome, we were excited for this ride since this was our first experience for this kind of train. Vista domb had big glass windows and glass roof to enjoy the views. The train started and we started our journey to Aguascalientes along Urubamba river.  No need to tell the one and half hour journey was super scenic with good food and lemongrass tea.
