Fulfilling Weekend

Friday had my first ever cooking show in office organised by APpN, I had absolute blast!! Got lot of compliments on the recipe and my kitchen too!!

Evening it was our first Marathi school day! I started teaching beginner level and Jai started first standard.

Saturday had yummy omelette breakfast after long time. After that we prepared for Jais camping.

Shri and Jai went for Jais soccer game, his team won this time too. After they headed to camping. They hiked and Jai played soccer, football, watched stars, made marshmallows and lots of talking with friends.

While they were gone. Me and Ram ate lunch on deck. After Rams home work he went to play volleyball with friends and I finished all my long pending work. In the eve we both went for walk, ordered sushi and watched movie. It was a nice time spending together.

Sunday after Shri came we had to complete our yard work so Shri went to get stuff from lowes while I harvested lot of veggies and cooked big meal, bhindi bhaji, dal wanga, green tomatoes chutney.

Jai had another fun thing this weekend. Evans birthday, pool party. He had a blast!

We completed some yard work and ended weekend with full satisfaction.

Canadian Rockies - Day 2 - The Dream Day: Larch Valley Hike & Moraine Lake Magic

We started our second day in the Canadian Rockies with our little tradition — a steaming cup of masala tea. There’s nothing like that comforting aroma to kick off an adventurous morning. While sipping our tea, we had a great chat with our wonderful host, Jeremy - a biker, traveler, and author of two books. He’s been around the world on his bike, and listening to his stories was truly inspiring. After breakfast, it was time for one of the most anticipated parts of our trip - the Larch Valley hike and visiting my dream destination, Moraine Lake! We grabbed some Subway sandwiches from Banff downtown to fuel up later on the trail and then headed toward Moraine Lake by shuttle. We started the hike around 12:30 PM, and wow — it was steep and challenging right from the beginning. But every step upward brought more breathtaking views of Moraine Lake below. Bermuda Cruising : Day 1 – Sunday: Setting Sail from New York City 🚢🌆

The excitement was real as we wrapped up breakfast and left home around 9:30 AM, all packed and ready for our 7-day adventure to Bermuda. As we drove into the city, the first glimpse of our cruise ship took our breath away—it stood tall and majestic on the Hudson River, a true floating city! Check-in was smooth, and by 2 PM, we were officially on board. The sheer size of the ship amazed all of us—18 floors packed with restaurants, shops, a buzzing casino, lively bars, pools, a full amphitheater, a grand theater, and even water slides and a giant rope course towering on the 18th floor! Watching our parents and in-laws marvel at everything around them was heartwarming. For them, this was like stepping into a whole new world—a luxurious hotel on water. The kids were already eyeing the pools and adventure zones, while we were still soaking in the scale of it all. Canadian Rockies - Day 1 - Waking Up to the Magic of Canmore and the Rockies

After a late-night arrival at around 2 AM, we finally woke up to our first morning in the Canadian Rockies - and what a surprise it was! Since we had reached in the dark, we had no idea what surrounded us. When I stepped out onto the balcony, I was greeted by a breathtaking view - majestic mountains all around, their peaks kissed by the early morning light. It was one of those moments that instantly fills you with gratitude and excitement for the day ahead. We had masala tea, got ready, and decided to explore downtown Canmore. The streets were charming, lined with cozy cafés, boutiques, and local art shops - all against the stunning mountain backdrop. It felt like stepping into a postcard. For brunch, we stopped at an amazing Indian restaurant called Mumbai Local, and oh my goodness - the food was phenomenal!
